Mr. & Mrs. Wood Sneak Peek

This wedding marks my last wedding of the year, kinda sad, but going out with a bang!  Anthony and Bridgette have been an absolute pleasure to work with!   first met them sometime over the Summer while eating at our local golf course.  I have to admit, if I hear the word “wedding”, I may eavesdrop a little.  Well this happened while we were enjoying our meal, I hear the table next to us discussing their wedding plans.  On my way out I introduced myself (rudely interrupting their meal, sorry guys!) and said I was a local wedding photographer.  Months went by, and Bridgette contacted me saying that her personal trainer at the gym referred her to me.  Funny thing is that she didn’t realize it was me (nor did I have a clue), the lady who interrupted her nice meal and conversation until later:) Anyway, from now on I will continue to introduce myself to those discussing wedding plans in public..fair game!

Their wedding was at Ramona’s San Vicente Golf Resort, on a perfect sunny day!  This place is near and dear to Bridgette, she is a chef at the Resort.  So all the food pics below are for Bridgette.  We don’t normally take such time and consideration to get the meal photographed & video’d, but we knew it was important to Bridgette.  Thanks to Ben in the kitchen for allowing us to barge in!

To Anthony & Bridgette, thank you for trusting Peter and I to document your wedding!  We enjoyed being a part of it!

Fanning Wedding Sneak Peek

It was the perfect day, perfect setting and perfect couple for last weekends wedding!  Jesse and Natalie are genuinely nice people, and have been amazing clients!  Their wedding was at Cordiano Winery, reception at their home.  Cordiano is a quaint winery in Escondido that has views to the ocean.  The wine is fabulous, and the pizza is to die for!  I originally met these two love birds at their venue, along with their gorgeous baby girl, we ate pizza and chatted wedding:)

Their wedding was so beautiful!  Natalie’s mother MADE her wedding dress!  Such a labor of love!  It was gorgeous!  I loved Natalie’s headpiece also!

I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of their special day, thank you for having me!!!

Our features in San Diego Style Weddings Magazine

Our inspiration to go ahead and combine our photography & videography businesses, and create “Mr. & Mrs.” Wedding Duo began with a meeting with San Diego Style Weddings Magazine!  We were so blessed and honored to have the opportunity to be featured in such a well established bridal magazine!  They have been selling magazines and inspiring San Diego brides, and brides nation-wide, for 25 years!  I first met the woman behind the magazine at the Bernardo Winery Bridal Fair last Fall.  My first bridal fair, nervous wreck…it was the beginning of a great new journey.  New wedding clients, like Chris & Breanna from our previous post, were met during the bridal fair.  After our initial meeting about the magazine, I was ecstatic and honestly petrified!  Like the bridal fair, but on a larger scale, my work would be out for the public to see (and scrutinize, like, love, hate?…so scary).  It was the perfect time to combine our business and become known as “Mr. & Mrs.” though, so we’ve been working hard rebranding ourselves before the magazine hits stands Oct. 1st.  Thank you to my “Mr.” and hubby for the amazing job he did on our website!

Thank you to SD Style Weddings for believing in us, and featuring our work!  It was a blessing to be able to photograph the kids inspiration spread “All American Kids”, and the tabletop inspirations.  Peter and I are so happy with the finished product!  The magazine looks amazing and we look forward to next year:)

Here’s the magazine and images that were featured…

Estes Wedding Sneak Peek

It was an absolute pleasure to photograph their wedding this past weekend at La Jolla Shores Hotel!  We’ve known Mike and Jessica for many years, Mike and my cousin Hayden are best friends,  and Mike and I see each other OFTEN at the Mercedes dealership he works at (there’s always something wrong with my car).  I feel like I’ve been able to witness it all from afar.  Every time I’d come in I’d ask Mike, “so when are you going to propose?”, “did you get the ring yet?”, then one day I show up and he had bought the ring, and finally had proposed!  Was so exciting, I would get to hear the progress of their wedding plans.  Jessica was super organized throughout the entire planning, a girl after my own heart:) I absolutely loved the colors they chose, the venue was amazing, and the DRESS!!!!  OMGosh!  Seriously, amazing!  She looked so good!

Mike & Jessica, it was my pleasure and honor to photograph your wedding!  I am so happy and excited for the two of you:) Thank you for having me!
